Warranty Policy

Effective Date: August 2025

At Simple Used Parts, we stand behind the quality of our recycled OEM auto parts. The following warranty applies to purchases made directly from Simple Used Parts.


Standard Warranty Coverage

  • All parts are covered by a one-year, unlimited mileage warranty for the original purchaser, provided the part remains installed on the vehicle for which it was originally purchased.

  • Warranty covers the cost of the part only. Labor costs, diagnostic fees, towing, or incidental expenses are not included.

  • Coverage is non-transferable.


Installation Requirements

  • All parts must be installed within 30 days of delivery.

  • A failure must be diagnosed by an ASE-certified mechanic to qualify for warranty coverage.

  • The following documentation is required to process a claim:

    • Mechanic’s diagnosis

    • Installation invoice

    • Mechanic’s certification


Exclusions

This warranty does not cover parts that are:

  • Defective upon receipt (must be returned within 30 days under our Return Policy).

  • Improperly installed, abused, altered, or used in racing/off-road conditions.

  • Installed on vehicles recalled by the manufacturer.

  • Damaged by fire, theft, accidents, environmental factors, or continued use after failure.


Component-Specific Coverage

  • Engine assemblies: Warranty covers core components only (block, heads, pistons, crankshaft).

  • Axle assemblies: Warranty covers shafts, housing, gears, and carrier.


Commercial Vehicles

  • Parts installed on commercial-use vehicles are covered for 30 days only.


Filing a Claim

  • Claims must be initiated within 30 days of the failure.

  • To file, email: simpleparts101@gmail.com with:

    • Order number

    • Installation invoice from an ASE-certified mechanic

    • Mechanic’s diagnosis and certification

  • Once a claim is opened, all required documentation must be submitted within 10 days.
